Hello one and all,
Join me every Wednesday from 8-11 PM eastern on X Transmission FM
http://xtransmissionfm.com for three hours of every genre known to man.
Heavy influences toward traditional country, Hard Rock and Metal, and
indie/underground Pop. The show is extremely open-ended however, and I've
featured classical, original 8Bit Chiptune music on several shows, and EDM, just
to name a few.
Requests are always welcome on this thread, tweet me @Orinks, or the station's
Twitter, @xtfm, during the show.
The station also has an accessible web chat interface, which connects to our IRC
chat room. Access it at http://xtransmissionfm.com/chat. Option 1 is the most
accessible for screen readers; tell sighted friends to use option 2.
In edition to that, if you know what you're doing and would rather use an IRC
client, connect to irc.blitzed.org. #xtransmissionfm is our chat room, where we
all hang out during shows.
We also have TeamTalk coming soon.
If that's not enough, you can hear past episodes of The Whole Dang Musical
Spectrum at http://orinks.net/wdms/. There you will find archives as well as the
playlist of tracks played.
You can also check out the stations other top quality content, including the just
recently returned popular show Wes's Musical Meltdown, presented by Wes
Derby. Other shows include Gina's Organized Chaos right before the Spectrum
at 5 PM east, and the Cemitary at Midnight with BobinBlackBoots on Monday.
One more thing: Occasionally The Whole Dang Musical Spectrum has a theme.
Wednesday's theme is all Industrial Metal. Don't know what I mean?
CellDweller, Dope, Godflesh, Ministry... These all fit the theme. If you want an
Industrial Metal fix or want to request something, hit me up and let me know!
I hope to see some of you tuned in on Wednesday hanging with us in chat! I'm
sure this post was detailed enough. :D
Wow I'm gonna check this out!
The Spectrum is back after a few weeks of me being under the wether. The
Industrial Metal show was this past Wednesday and everybody who listened to it
enjoyed it.
The archive is available at http://orinks.net/wdms/
what will be your next theme...?
I don't do weekly themes--tonight's was an everything show, though the next
theme I'm planning is Bubblegum Dance/Pop. Next week there will be an album
Spotlight of the new excellent Avenged Sevenfold album, "The Stage".
The archives are up-to-date. Here's a page to bookmark:
